3 More Die From COVID As Case Numbers In Onondaga County Climb

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon says we are now seeing the impacts of Thanksgiving in the recent surge of COVID cases.

McMahon said there were 348 new cases, hospitalizations holding steady at 130 residents with 32 in the ICU.

Sadly 3 more people died, a man in his 50's and two women one in her 70's the other in her 80's.

McMahon said it is critical to stay at home when sick and get tested, get vaccinated and get your booster shot. He said the actions of today will have an impact 7-10 days from now.

McMahon said "Lets nip this uptick."
