Onondaga County Sheriffs Investigating Nedrow Man's Death

Town of Onondaga, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a man who died while in custody.

Tuesday morning an ambulance crew along with Deputies responded to a residence in the 200 block of Hudson Avenue in the Town of Onondaga. They found 36-year-old Daniel Gibson of Nedrow unconscious. He came to after being administered Naloxone.

Gibson then became violent, striking and kicking emergency crews and deputies before going unconscious again. He was handcuffed and rushed to the hospital, on the way Gibson went into cardiac arrest.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The New York State Attorney General’s Office has been notified and are taking over the investigation.
