Onondaga County Sees Uptick In COVID Hospitalizations

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County continues to see new cases of COVID 19.

County Executive Ryan McMahon said today there were 211 cases. McMahon said 46% of those were Household contacts and 23% were in the age group of 0-11 years old.

He said 116 people are in the Hospital with 24 in the ICU, of those 83% were not vaccinated.

Sadly another man in his 60's died. McMahon said had underlying conditions.

McMahon also said anyone 18 and over who wants to get a booster shot can get one.
