Syracuse Christmas Tree Lighting Returning To In Person This Year

Syracuse, N.Y. - Another sign that things are slowly returning to normal.

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announcing today that the “Home for the Holidays” tree lighting in Clinton Square will return in person Friday, November 26 at 6 p.m.

The 42-foot tall tree will be lit the day after Thanksgiving.

The Clinton Square Ice Rink will be open for skating that day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It then will be closed during the ceremony and reopen immediately after with extended hours until 9:30 p.m, weather permitting
