Syracuse, N.Y. - Competition for the 24th Congressional District seat is getting hot and heavy.
Sarah Klee Hood, a DeWitt Town Board member-elect announced that she is launching her campaign for Congress in the 24th. That of course the seat currently held by embattled Representative John Katko.
Born and raised in Central New York, Klee Hood, a US Air Force Veteran joins 2 other Democrats seeking that seat, Francis Canole and Steven Holden.
A Republican has also come forward to challenge Katko to a primary, 56 year old Tim Ko.
