Onondaga County Executive McMahon Says Tough Weekend For COVID Deaths

Syracuse, N.Y. - Cases of COVID in Onondaga County seem to be dropping, but people are still dying.

County Executive Ryan McMahon announcing today, there are 1,079 Monday thru Sunday last week, the week before the number was 1,208.

He said there were 175 new cases reported today. 88 people in the hospital with 22 the ICU.

But it was another tough weekend regarding deaths according to McMahon.

Seven people died. 4 men, 2 in their 50's, and 2 in their 60's, and 2 women, one in her 60's the other in her 90's. New York State also reported a death in a Nursing home.
