Syracuse, N.Y. - Gas prices continue to rise across the country and here in NY
AAA says today’s national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.40, up one cent from last week. One year ago, the price was $2.13.
The state average is up from a year ago when it was $2.23 to today's price of $3.55.
The price for a gallon in Syracuse is up 2 cents to $3.50. Buffalo and Rochester rose 2 cents as well.
Two cities that saw the biggest increases of 3 cents a gallon were in Rome and Watertown.
