Elbridge, N.Y. - A Weedsport is dead after driving into a pond at Tessy Plastics in Elbridge
State Police say 54 year old Thomas Carlton, an employee at Tessy experienced a medical event that caused him to drive through the parking lot and into a pond. People tried to rescue him but they were unsuccessful.
Carlton was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled to determine an official cause of death.
