Lysander, N.Y. - Onondaga County Health department say that a horse in the Town of Lysander has died from West Nile virus. They said they did not find any in mosquito traps in the area where the horse was located, but they are planning to conduct truck spraying in the area on Monday, September 20 after 7:00 pm, weather permitting.
Residents in the spray areas will be notified by phone through the 911 emergency notification system.
