Syracuse Police Have A Suspect In Custody In The Latest Homicide

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police have made an arrest in the cities latest homicide.

Around 11 Friday Night, police responded to 2500 block of Midland avenue where they found 38 year old Michael Simpson inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police say 26 year old Nehemiah Jones turned himself in today and was taken into custody.

Jones faces one count of Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
