Former Syracuse University Lacrosse Player Arrested For DWI

Irving, N.Y. - A former Syracuse University Lacrosse star has been arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Chase Scanlan, was arrested Sunday in Chautauqua County. Scanlan was driving with a suspended license.

Recently Scanlan faced accusations of domestic violence after a woman said he smashed her phone and held her down hurting her in the process. He pleaded not guilty to criminal mischief and harassment.

The woman has also filed a lawsuit against the university, the Athletic director and former Lacrosse coach John Desko.
