UPDATE: The accident was caused after the driver of the van who was being chased by Geddes Police slammed into the CENTRO bus and burst into flames. The driver of the van has been arrested.
Syracuse, N.Y. - There is a major accident at Genant Drive and West Bear Street. It involved a CENTRO bus and another vehicle.
Fire and smoke could be seen blocks away.
No word on if the bus had passengers or if there are any injuries.
Several first responders are on the scene and the intersection and roads leading to it are closed.
