Former Gov Cuomo's Close Aide, Joseph Percoco's Conviction Upheld

Syracuse, N.Y. - The US Appeals Court in New York has upheld the conviction of a man Governor Cuomo once said was like a brother to him, Joseph Percoco.

Percoco was a top aide to former Gov. Cuomo and was convicted of federal corruption charges in 2018

Also COR Development executives Steven Aiello and Joseph Gerardi had their wire fraud and conspiracy convictions from 2018 upheld as well.

The court also upheld the conviction of Alain Kaloyeros, who was the central figure in Cuomo’s largest economic development effort. Kaloyeros was convicted in a bid-rigging scandal involving Cuomo's signature upstate revitalization plan, the "Buffalo Billion".

Percoco is in jail now, but no word on when the others would begin serving time.
