Two Horses Die From Triple E In Oswego County

Palermo, N.Y. - The Oswego County Health Department has reported that two horses in the town of Palermo have died from Eastern equine encephalitis or Triple E

The horses lived on the same farm and had not been vaccinated for Triple E.

The health department warns that until we have a killing frost, people need to fully protect themselves from mosquito bites.

Triple E has been found at sampling sites in Palermo, Albion, West Monroe, Hastings, Central Square and Constantia.
