Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announcing today that he signed an Executive Order mandating that every student facing employee or vendor in every school district must be vaccinated or tested every week.
The EO also states that all daycare providers must wear masks.
Teachers in Onondaga County will be required to show proof of vaccination or submit to weekly testing.
McMahon also said the county is in the planning stages preparing to conduct mass-testing before the start of school.
McMahon said its not likely that the COVID numbers will ever get to zero
