Expect A Report Of What Impeachment Investigation Into Gov. Cuomo Uncovered

Albany, N.Y. - One of the members of the State Assembly Judiciary Committee says the panel is planning to release a report on its impeachment investigation into Governor Cuomo.

Albany area Democrat Phil Steck spoke with Albany's Channel 10. He doesn't believe there is a date yet for the release of the report but says it will be issued.

Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie said Friday the Committee would drop its impeachment investigation now that Governor Cuomo is resigning.

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul says she supports the decision of Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie to suspend the impeachment investigation into Governor Cuomo. During a visit to the Erie County Fair near Buffalo yesterday, Hochul said she defers to the leadership of the Assembly on this issue but promised there won't be any controversies in her administration once it begins August 24th.

Cuomo spent the weekend continuing to deny the myriad of claims that led to him stepping down. =
