Syracuse, N.Y. - Organizers of the New York State Fair say buildings and grounds will open up a bit later than usual this year.
Visitors will have to wait until 11:00 a.m. to be allowed on the property instead of 10:00 a.m. as it's been in the past. Everything will be closed down by 10:00 p.m. with the exception of the Midway, which will be up and running until 11:00 p.m.
Everything will close at 9:00 p.m. on Labor Day, which is the final day.. This year's event runs from August 20th through September 6th.
