Five Syracuse City Pools Reopen After Issues With Chlorine Deliveries

Syracuse, N.Y. - City of Syracuse announcing that 5 pools that were closed due to issues with chlorine delivery will reopen

Kirk, Lincoln, Onondaga, Schiller and Thornden park pools are the ones.

McKinley and Wilson are closing for the season due to the issue.

Swimmers are encouraged to continue calling the pools to make reservations.

Pool hours for the remainder of the 2021 summer season may be adjusted based on weather and staffing. Phones will be monitored, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., daily.

Spray features located at city parks will remain operational to help keep community members cool.
