Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh has announced a potential plan to upgrade the city's aging water systems.
Mayor Walsh is proposing an investment of $10 million in stimulus money to extend pipes in Skaneateles Lake, which provides water for the city of Syracuse. The plan was created as a result of recent toxic algal blooms that have formed on the lake in the past few years.
