The Federal Highway Administration has revealed its latest plans for 81.
The plan, labelled the I-81 Viaduct Project, details the reconstruction of a major portion of the highway through downtown Syracuse. The plan also goes into details for alternative plans, including the popular community grid option. The grid appears to be the preferred option by the State DOT. There will be public hearings on the new proposal August 17th and 18th.
