Congressman John Katko says he will vote against the creation of a commission that would investigate the January 6th riot at the US Capitol.
Thousands of people stormed the building January 6th in an effort to prevent Congress from certifying President Biden's win over former President Donald Trump. Several deaths were connected to the riots and hundreds of arrests have been made since then. Katko, who represents the 24th District, believes the panel would be skewed because Democrats would have more spots on it than his fellow Republicans.
