Johnson & Johnson Reaches Settlement With NY Attorney General's Office

Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay NY a settlement for their role in the state's opioid crisis.

State Attorney General Letitia James said that the drugmaker agreed to a $230 million settlement, which will go towards addiction prevention and treatment. The state had accused Johnson & Johnson of deceptive marketing, and not doing enough to prevent overdoses and deaths.
