Deposit, N.Y. - State Police have arrested a Deposit NY man for shooting a Trooper.
Police say 44-year-old Scott Mawhiney has been charged with attempted murder after shooting Trooper Ryan Thorp. Thorp had responded to a domestic disturbance call around 9 last night when he was shot in the arm. He is now listed in stable condition.
