Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Firefighters dealing with a blaze early this morning.
It happened around 9:30 at 1310 Willis Avenue.
When units arrived heavy smoke and fire was visible. Everyone in the building that contained four apartments made it out.
Firefighters were able to located and remove two cats and a dog. The dog did not survive.
A total of 45 firefighters worked for more than 30 minutes to bring the fire under control in the hot and humid weather conditions. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
No word yet on the cause.
