New York Sees 59th Straight Day Of Declining COVID-19 Numbers

Albany, N.Y. - Goveronor Cuomo announcing today that the state's positivity rate is .44%, and the 7day average down to .60%, the 59th straight day of decline.

Hospitalizations are below 1,000 for the first time since October 21st. He had just 10 COVID-19 deaths to report statewide.

Cuomo said "COVID rate shave never been lower and businesses are reopening and people are coming together. Our state is back, and that's a testament to the New Yorkers who have stayed tough and smart over the last year."

He again urged people to get vaccinated.
