Liverpool School Asks For School Tax Increase

Liverpool, N.Y. - The Liverpool School District hosted a virtual public meeting to discuss it’s spending plan for next school year.

The $168 million proposal is a 1.6 percent increase over this year. The tax rate will increase less than a quarter per $1,000 to $26.49. This means that the homeowner of a $150,000 house will pay an extra $33.81 in taxes.

Voting is scheduled for Tuesday May 18 at the former Wetzel Road Elementary main gymnasium.
