Broadband Industry Used Fake Comments And Letters To Repeal Net Neutrality

Albany, N.Y. - NY Attorney General Letitia James says the broadband industry used fake comments to help repeal net neutrality.

The repeal undid rules that barred internet providers from slowing or blocking websites and apps or charging more for faster speeds.

The AG report found that a broadband industry group spent over 4 million dollars generating more than 8 million fake comments and half a million fake letters that were sent to Congress.
