NYS Comptroller DiNapoli Asks State AG James, To Look Into Cuomo's Book

Albany, N.Y. - The New York Times is reporting that New York State Comptroller Tom Dinapoli has requested State Attorney General Letitia James to open a potential criminal investigation of Governor Andrew Cuomo's book and the possible use of public resources.

Cuomo is accused of using state employees to help write and edit portions of the book at the height of the pandemic.

Cuomo's administration has claimed that the employees' work on the book was voluntary and they were not paid.

Some employees have come out and said, that it was expected of them to cooperate and contribute in the process of putting the book together.
