Syracuse, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo announcing today the completion of "Butternut Crossing", a new seven-building affordable housing development in Syracuse's Northside neighborhood.
The $16.8 million mixed-use, mixed-income development has 53 affordable apartments including 11 homes reserved for people who need supportive services in order to live independently.
Butternut Crossing is located along Butternut and North Townsend Streets.
There is a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments that are affordable to households with incomes that range from 30 to 90 percent of Area Median Income.
