Town of Dewitt, N.Y. - Dewitt Police are releasing the name of the person who was found dead by the Speedway near Carrier Circle Friday.
35 year old Mark Owens of Cicero was discovered in a swampy area near the Speedway and not far from the car wash on Thompson Road.
Police say they are waiting for results on the cause of death.
They are asking that is anyone has any information or had any contact with Owens since April 1st, to contact them.
