Oswego, N.Y. - The city of Oswego is saying thank you to their essential city employees who stayed on the job through the pandemic.
The city has announced they will give each essential employee, including workers in the Department of Public Works, Fire, Police, Animal Control Department, Water treatment plant employees, and individuals who work at either of the city’s wastewater facilities a 500 dollar bonus.
Mayor Billy Barlow says the money is coming from the latest stimulus package, also known as the American Rescue Plan.
