SUNY Schools Looking To Vaccinate Students Before Summer Break

Albany, N.Y. - The State University of New York is looking to vaccinate its students before they head home for the summer.

S.U.N.Y announced that almost 19,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are heading to their 34 campuses and they are working to get more.

S.U.N.Y said the one-shot vaccine will be helpful for students who may be going home for summer before they would be able to get a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

This comes as the eligibility age for COVID-19 vaccinations has dropped to 16 and above.
