NY Lawmakers, Governor Cuomo Have Yet To Reach Budget Agreement

The state budget is several days late, and the Legislature and Governor Cuomo are still trying to reach a final agreement.

The final total of the budget is projected to be above $200 billion, which would be a record. Lawmakers and the governor have tentatively struck a deal that would raise income taxes on the state's wealthiest residents and some corporations, but other issues still need to be resolved.
