Harpursville, N.Y. - Animal Adventure Park of Binghamton, has announced that the April the giraffe has been euthanized
April, who held the attention of the whole world as she gave birth back in 2017, had worsening arthritis. It was decided in accordance with the recommendations of her veterinary team to put her out of her pain.
Following the euthanasia, her body was escorted to the Cornell University Veterinary School, where a necropsy will be completed. She will then be cremated, and her ashes will be returned to Animal Adventure Park.
