Syracuse Police Investigate 4 Violent Incidents In The Span Of An Hour

Several violent incidents in the span of one hour sent 3 people to the hospital.

Syracuse police said between 5 and 6 yesterday afternoon, two shootings and two stabbings occurred across the city.

At 5:15, officers met with the first victim at an area hospital. The teen had been stabbed in the hand.

15 minutes later, police responded to a shooting on the city's Southside. A 19-year-old was shot in the leg several times.

Around 5:45, another shooting was reported, but no one was injured. Bullets ended up hitting a car with a child inside, but the child was not harmed.

Just after 6, officers were called to the second stabbing on Syracuse's Northside. A woman was found with a stab wound to her chest.

All three victims are expected to recover.
