Syracuse, N.Y. - Symir Torrence is coming home to play for the Orange.
Torrence a former Syracuse Academy of Science star, announced on social media that he’ll be transferring from Marquette to SU.
He has three years of eligibility remaining.
Torrence, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound point guard, will be eligible to play immediately once the NCAA gives its approval to allow one-time transfers to play without requiring them to sit out a season.
