City Of Oswego Says "Thanks" By Helping To Buy Homes

Oswego, N.Y. - The city of Oswego wants to say thank you, to front-line workers by helping them buy houses.

The City announced today they are partnering with Pathfinder Bank to cover the closing costs for frontline workers and first responders who purchase a home in the city.

Eligible buyers can receive up to $5,000 in credit to cover the costs. It's called the “Heroes as Neighbors” Program.

Those eligible are registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, firefighters, doctors, police officers, and active members of the military.
