New York To Go Forward With "Congestion Pricing"

Albany, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo has announced the state is moving forward with what is called "Congestion Pricing".

Cuomo announced today that the Biden administration has given the state the go-ahead.

Simply put Congestion pricing charges motorists a fee to enter the busiest parts of a city, and uses that money to bolster public transportation.

Cuomo said "Congestion pricing is an internationally proven method to reduce traffic congestion, enhance the availability and reliability of public transportation, and improve our air quality"
