Syracuse Police Find Drugs And A Handgun During Traffic Stop

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police arrested 4 people after a traffic stop turned up drugs and a loaded handgun.

Sunday, around 10 police stopped a car in the 500 block of E. Taylor Street. Officers observed evidence of drugs inside of the car and conducted a search after removing all occupants.

In addition to illegal drugs, they found a loaded 9mm handgun.

As a result, all four of the vehicle's occupants were arrested and charged with multiple charges, including felony weapons charges.

The four arrested are:

  • Henry Sterling, 29, of Syracuse
  • Julius Lindsey, 27, of Syracuse
  • Moriah Burns, 23, of Syracuse
  • Ayla Edwards-Pritchard, 28 of Syracuse
