A longtime CNY politician died over the weekend.
H Douglas Barclay was a member of the State Senate for nearly 20 years, and later served as the ambassador to El Salvador during President George Bush's administration. Barclay's son, Will, is currently the State Assembly Minority Leader.
Former NY Governor George Pataki expressed his condolences on social media.
