First Case Of COVID 19 In Onondaga County Announced One Year Ago, Today

Syracuse, N.Y. - It's been one year since the first COVID-19 case was detected in Onondaga County

On March 16th, 2020, Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced the first case in the county of coronovirus, or COVID 19.

The virus has taken a deadly toll. So far 683 have died in the county within the last year.

Currently, things look good in the county has the positivity rate is at 0.7% and only 43 people are hospitalized.
