Two people were hospitalized following violent incidents in the city of Syracuse.
Police responded to a shooting on the city's Southside around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon. The victim, who had been shot in the shoulder, had already been taken to the hospital.
An hour later, police were called to a stabbing on N State St. The victim was found with multiple stab wounds, but is expected to survive.
