Janesville, N.Y. - Police responded to an officer-involved shooting call this afternoon around 1:30.
The incident was reported to have happened near Roberts and Timothy drives, off of Apulia Road, near Jamesville Reservoir.
A civilian has died according to Onondaga County District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick.
A large police presence remains at the scene.
UPDATE: Onondaga county District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick has confirmed that the victim is a 17 year old.
