Lowville, N.Y. - New York State Police have arrested a Lewis County woman for making a false report.
40-year-old Heather Rice, who worked at New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities in Oneida County, made the false abuse report against herself.
She did so in order to take advantage of paid administrative leave while the allegations were looked into.
Troopers say she received almost 7,000 dollars in paid leave.
