Washington, D.C. - Claudia Tenney officially got her old job back on Capitol Hill this morning.
Around 9:05 Tenney was sworn-in as the 22nd Congressional District's representative after defeating Democrat and former Congressman Anthony Brindisi. Tenney lost that position two years ago when she was beaten by Brindisi. This year, she came out on top by 109 votes in a race that lasted long past Election Day due to legal challenges.
At the appointed time, Tenney presented herself in the well of the House and took the Oath of Office administered by the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.
Tenney is now the newest and last member to join the 117th Congress.
