New York state elections officials have officially certified Republican Claudia Tenney’s victory over U.S. Rep. Anthony Brindisi after more than three months. New York State's four elections commissioners voted 4-0 to certify the results.
Tenney came out on top with 109 votes in a battle that lasted months.
Anthony Brindisi has released a statement congratulating Tenney on her victory and offering to make the transition process as smooth as possible.
