Absentee Ballot Counting To Resume In Onondaga County Monday

Ballot counting in Onondaga County will resume this morning.

The count was paused after 12 board of elections volunteers tested positive for coronavirus. Extra precautions, including plexiglass barriers and face shields, will be used to keep workers safe. Key races that have yet to be called include the 50th State Senate District, which currently has Republican Angi Renna in a narrow lead over Democrat John Mannion.
