Onondaga County Sees Another Record Number Of COVID 19 Cases

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County executive Ryan McMahon announced on Facebook the recent number of COVID 19 cases in the county.

McMahon said there were 240 new cases over the last 24 hours. There are 80 people in the hospital. 12 in ICU.

He said nearly half of the cases are community spread.

McMahon said out of nearly 700 tests in schools in the yellow zone, only 2 came back positive.

There were no new deaths in the county.

McMahon said they conducted 468 asymptomatic tests at the OnCenter in Syracuse, Wednesday. There were only seven positive results.
