5 CNY Schools Switch To Online Learning Due To COVID-19 Cases

Several schools across CNY are moving remote due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.

Liverpool Central School District officials say that Long Branch Elementary, Willow Field Elementary, and the Liverpool High School Annex will all switch to online learning Thursday after individuals in those buildings tested positive for the virus. Contact tracers in Onondaga County say they need more time to identify those who may have been exposed.

In Oswego County, Fitzhugh Elementary School in Oswego will be heading remote through the end of this week following two positive cases of coronavirus.

Cazenovia School District officials are also moving classes at Burton Street Elementary School online Thursday after a staff member contracted the virus.
