Syracuse, N.Y. - The FBI announcing today they are looking for some help in a missing persons case from 1981
Tammy Mahoney was last seen in Oneida, where the 19-year-old Morrisville State College student was hitchhiking. She was picked up and taken to a party on the Oneida Nation.
The FBI says they believe a person who turned in a wallet around that time may have information needed to solve the case. They also want to talk to the person whose wallet it was.
The FBI thinks the owner of the wallet may have been with Mahoney the night she disappeared. They are asking both to come forward.
